ABOUT ME

The foundation of Stretching Forward comes from my strong belief that today matters and that our past is only part of what shapes our future. As I continue my own journey as a scholar of spirit and soul, my goal is to inspire women everywhere to rediscover their passion for life.

My journey into leading retreats began in 2018, but the roots go much deeper. After a rewarding career in nursing, including 19 years as an RN educator, I developed Stretching Forward, realizing the potential women have at all ages. These retreats are developed by blending my clinical experience in facilitating hospital and church retreats with my own personal growth as a retreat participant. Whether we meet at Lakeside, in Bay Village, or connect via Zoom, every adventure is an opportunity for growth.

Stretching Forward retreats are for women ready to take time for them-selves: to reflect on their lives, embrace the present, and look ahead to all that life has yet to offer. As women, we often miss the opportunity to pause, reconnect, and evaluate our lives. Retreat is a chance for solitude, serenity, and grace—a space to celebrate yourself, your journey, and the possibilities ahead.

On a personal note, I’ve been married to my husband for over twenty-five years. We cherish our time with our five children, their spouses, and our eleven grandchildren. My life has been grounded in community service, from active volunteer roles in PTA, scouting, and church. Even Covid could not stop my journey or my resolve to make every day count.

My personal mantra, “You will never be younger than you are today,” reminds me to keep stretching forward each day. Now is the time to embrace your next step. Join our community and stay connected by clicking ‘CONTACT’ to join our mailing list or ask any questions you may have.
